Objet général du poste

Cette position est responsable d’aider au développement, à la mise en place, à administrer et assurer le suivi des pratiques et politiques des programmes des Ressources humaines. Cette position est le contact des ressources humaines pour une région déterminée afin de maintenir les relations de travail ainsi que de fournir un large soutien et des conseils aux cadres supérieurs, aux gestionnaires et aux superviseurs des services.

 

Résumé des fonctions essentielles de l’emploi

-          Gérer les opérations au jour le jour des programmes des ressources humaines et fournir des conseils d'experts dans tous les domaines des ressources humaines, y compris la gestion des talents, l'engagement des employés, la rémunération globale, l'apprentissage et le développement, et la carrière et la gestion de la performance

-          Accompagner et conseiller de manière proactive la direction dans l'interprétation et l’application des pratiques des  RH et s'assurer que les politiques et les procédures des ressources humaines soient exécutées de façon cohérente selon les objectifs approuvés de l’entreprise

-          Participer au développement, à l’exécution et à l’amélioration continue des stratégies des ressources humaines selon les objectifs d'affaires mondiales.

-          Guider et conseiller, de façon proactive, la direction et les employés sur toutes les questions relatives aux relations avec les employés et participer activement à la résolution des conflits ou des plaintes de sorte que toutes les mesures prises se situent selon les exigences légales.

-          Assurer la conformité de la législation provinciale liée aux questions des ressources humaines en mettant en place et en assurant le suivi de l'application de programmes liés à la législation fédérale (équité salariale, les langues officielles, droits de l'homme, etc.) en plus de fournir des informations à tous les employés au sujet de ces programmes


Exigences minimales

  • Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience de généraliste en RH
  • Diplôme de premier cycle/diplôme d’études collégiales en Ressources humaines souhaitée et/ou expérience équivalente
  • CHRP/CRHA considéré comme un atout
  • Parfaitement bilingue en anglais et en français tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit
  • Expérience dans les secteurs du courtage en douane/ logistique privilégié
  • Solide formation en programmes de recrutement efficaces
  • Excellentes compétences en communication, solides compétences analytiques/ résolution de problèmes et d’organisation
  • Interaction confortable avec les dirigeants d'entreprise

Aptitudes requises

Le candidat choisi devra être diplomatique et bien travailler sous pression tout en gérant les problèmes des employés avec une capacité prouvée à garder son calme sous pression. En outre, le candidat doit avoir de très bonnes compétences en communication verbale et écrite afin de résoudre les conflits et de soutenir les gestionnaires avec les questions des employés et de l'embauche.

Job Overview:

In the context of the overall Human Resource strategy and in partnership with Corporate Human Resources subject matter areas and client service teams, the Human Resources Representative translates business needs into integrated Human Resource solutions to fully leverage people management, employee capability and organizational development within all functions and departments. Contributes to the Manager and Employee Relationship by building understanding of HR strategies, policies and programs and by providing value added advice and counsel in all areas of Human Resources including: performance management, rewards and recognition, recruitment and retention, talent management, succession planning, employee relations and diversity. Effectively manages the demands of the client group and assist the development of business specific HR solutions.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


1. Human Resource Policy and Governance


Reinforces appropriate application of HR policies, standards and procedures to ensure alignment with the organization's vision, mission and values and to ensure adherence with legislative requirements.

Provides generalist HR policy interpretation and advice to enhance Manager's capability and to ensure adherence to Corporate HR policies, programs and standards.
Partners with subject matter experts and the business to resolve issues that may arise in the workplace. Partners with HR Services and Operations on other governance related activities to support regulatory reporting and co-ordination of internal and external compliance and audit reviews.





 

2. HR Planning and Integration

 

Understands client business goals, objectives, and operating environment, develops and implements human resource plan to enable the business in meeting their goals and objectives.

Assisting the organization with the implementation of new HR initiatives and programs.
 
3. HR Program Delivery

 

Meets client expectations by effectively managing priorities, deliverables and ensuring HR solutions are rolled out in an integrated, efficient and timely manner.

Works with Sr. Management and leadership teams to ensure their HR requirements are met and to help build a working environment conducive to high levels of employee commitment and engagement.

4. Performance Management and Capability Development


Provides leadership and guidance to Managers on HR policies, programs and processes (i.e. performance management process, succession planning process to ensure consistent application of HR programs.

Helps managers identify and resolve performance management and employee relations issues including assistance with the escalation of complex issues as appropriate.
Partners with Corporate Training and Development to identify developmental requirements.

 Provides managers with guidelines, procedures and available tools to facilitate the delivery of all HR programs in order to enhance manager experience.

 

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS


The Human Resources Representative interacts regularly with senior leadership teams within the assigned lines of business in order to translate business needs into integrated Human Resource solutions.

Partners with fellow HR Representatives to provide support and develop Compensation and Benefits, Training and Development,  HR Services and Operations, Employee Relations, Policy and Governance for subject matter expertise, development of new/enhanced HR programs, HR policy interpretation and handling of complex workplace issues.

External relationships include business providers, consultants and industry network groups as appropriate.

 


COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIES

WORKING CONDITIONS


This role operates within a fast paced and deadline driven office environment and work with minimal supervision. Focused concentration and attention to detail is required when analyzing and interpreting workforce data.

 


 

Requirements:

       Knowledge of HR concepts, policies and practices acquired through formal academic training and/or relevant years experience as an HR generalist or within HR areas of expertise. Employee Relations experience is strongly preferred.

       Strong understanding of HR governance and employment legislation and FedEx Trade Networks Canada HR policies and programs in order to identify compliance and/or regulatory issues and to proactively provide advice and counsel to managers and employees.

       Consulting skills and ability to influence business leaders on suggested action for turning business issues/problems into viable HR Business solutions

       Problem solving skills, ability to determine root cause of complex issues and arrive at sound HR/Business solutions.

       Communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills in order to work effectively with business and HR leaders and partners.

 

Must Have:

       Fluently bi-lingual (English and French)

       5+ years of solid HR /Employee Relations experience

       CHRP preferred.

Specific Educational Requirements/Accreditations:

       University degree.
