Position: Senior Manager – Quality

This position is responsible for supporting project execution, market research, market positioning, as well as leading product meetings, providing status to management, identification and management of barriers and risks. This senior position works to develop the strategic product plan, product requirements, market strategies, as well as has an excellent oversight on compliance initiatives and quality programs.  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:

Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent in business. Over 10 years of robust Quality background / experience – involving Certifications in LEAN/ISO 9001 Quality Management/Six Sigma/Canada Excellence. Minimum 5 years of direct managerial experience in a senior position. In-depth knowledge of project execution/market research/market positioning. Excellent communication, organization, listening and presentation skills. Strong organization, analytical, and problem solving skills.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Development and maintenance of CHB product requirements by working directly with Engineering Leads, Program Managers and Product Managers.

• Develop product strategy and positioning based on market research and customer feedback.

• Participate in the execution of a customer advisory board (CAB) program for each of our major market segments.

•Product leadership for assigned products from cradle to grave.

• Provide assistance to other products managers as needed.

•Understand the product details and lead product related technical and business analysis activities.

•Understand the system users and the user experiences

• Research and understand the competitive market landscape

• Represent the product team in periodic cross-function team meetings.

• Document creation and management.
